  Convinced to eat here after my boyfriend begged me to go. I have lived in Walterboro for 25 years and have always heard the food was nasty. They never have customers while the other three chinese restaurants are packed. Couldn't tell you how the food tasted since everything was burned. I don't mean a couple of grill marks I mean crispy burnt. We took the containers back inside and before we got to the counter the woman was saying, "chicken burn? chicken burn?". She took the containers and refunded our money. Don't waste your time!

  To all the folks saying negative things about The China Dragon, it's been in business for 32 years and the owners work very hard despite their old ages. They do their best to keep a restaurant running because it's the only life they know. Everyone criticizing the service and food must live very negative and pessimistic lives! Just please know the owners do the best they can with what they have. They are not rich to where they can advertise, or renovate, or even upgrade to current restaurant times. This is a traditional restaurant and is owned and operated just as it was 32 years ago. Most Chinese restaurants have changed to fast style and buffets. The China Dragon is still a traditional sit down and eat Chinese restaurant with traditional customers that have eaten there for many years. So before you judge and criticize learn why things are the way they are first. They do the best they can with what they have!
